Restore saved results into Results View not working

GVH 2.8/GE 4.7

 

When I reopen Saved Results and click on the named result list (ie. "Selection Test (3)), nothing happens. I can edit the title of the list or delete the list, but if I want to bring it back to the Result list view and re-highlight that list on the map, it doesn't do it. Maybe I'm missing something obvious?

  Hi Stephanie, 

  I was unable to reproduce the issue.

  I was wondering if you could verify that the saved results don't appear in results list at all or they display as grouped layer in results list, but just no highlgiht appears on the map?

  Can you provide a screenshort when the issue appears?

  Upon further testing, I can find the Saved Results but it states that it is "Currently Open" and thereby clicking on the results, does nothing.  They display as you have described in the second scenario: they display as a grouped layer in the results list, but no highlight appears on the map.

  Thanks for providing the screenshot.  We still cannot reproduce the issue, which suggests that it may be a site-specific issue.  Please file an issue with Support, and we will continue to investigate the matter for you.

  Stephanie,

   

  Were you able to fix your issue: I was able to reproduce it. The issue is that the items in the List of Saved Results is not active unless you have an active selction.  You need to select a feature in your viewer then open the saved selection results.

   

  I am having a different issue. If I save my project, the selection is visible in the table view when I open the viewer but the selected records are no highlighted. Any suggestions?

  Hi Bobby,

  Is it possible to have you confirm which Highlight Mode you set to?

  You can the configuration under "Look and Feel" tab.

  Pairin,

   

  The Highlight Mode is set to "Highlight Features on Page" but in the viewer config. file I set Paging to false.

   

  I changed the Highlight Mode to "Highlight All Features" and reopened the saved viewer and the save selection is hightlighted but new selections are not highlighted and the saved selection stays highlighted with no option to clear it.
