How to configure Geocortex to recognize ArcGIS Server roles

How do I configure Geocortex Essentials to recorgnise the roles and permissions I created  on my ArcGIS Server 10.4., The aim is to shield some of my REST services from certain users on Geocortex and ArcGIS Online

  We created ArcGIS Server user accounts specific to our viewers. We then just add those users to the appropriate roles to control access to services.

   

  We also has user accounts specific to our ArcGIS Online content.
