Tool to share the current map view via URL is also opening blank browser

I have added the tool to share curent extent as URl in an email (Share Module). It works great, but also opens up a blank browser window.  Anyone know how to change that so it just creates and copies the URL to email without opening the blank browser window?

  Hi Shana,

  I have not been able to reproduce this issue and sounds like an issue with the browser itself. What browser and version of the browser are you seeing the blank browser window also open?

  I tried this also and my Chrome opens a new window an has about:Blank#Blocked
