identity server url error

I am running into some issues setting up the identity store.  I have went through all of the forums and kb articles available without success.  I have AGS and GCE running on an internal server and as of today finally have a valid SSL cert installed.

 

Changing the domain name in the id store configuration generates the error below:

 

URL is invalid.  The remote server returned and error: (500) Internal Server Error.

 

Previously using the server name would generate a certificate mismatch error when configuring users/roles.

 

I've run the post install, and the identity store setup and tested all of the suggestions in the forum posts with the same result.

 

Thanks for any insight anyone may have.

  Hi Cory,

   

  You might want to check in the Identity server configuration (In Essentials Manager under the Security and Data tab) and see what the URL for your Identity server is set to.  Does it match the one you've installed the certificate for?

   

  Issues like this are difficult to troubleshoot without seeing the problem.  If you're still having trouble, I'd suggest opening a support case so we can assist you directly.
