How to get highlight feature to work on featureset shown in results pane

I have a custom featureset that is generated from a workflow and eventually shows results in the results pane of the HTML viewer (GVH 2.6).  When I click on an individual result in the results pane, the behavior for resultant lines is to zoom into them BUT they do not highlight.  I want these features to highlight.  Do I just change some code in the json config files to make this happen?  If so, where?  Or do I need to use an external command in a workflow to turn Highlights on?

  Interestingly enough I am working on a similiar workflow. 

   

  You can use a "run external command" to highlight the feature - however I chose not to myself because I found it stays in the viewer

   

  

   

  Curious as to what you are using to display the results in the results pane?

  I believe that what you propose actually highlights the entire set of features.  I only want the current selected feature to highlight once it is clicked in the results list (just like a select multiple features with identify tools works...you select multiple features--maybe with the rectangle tool--the list of features appears in the results list, but the features are NOT highlighted at this time, instead they have pushpins on them.  Then, when you select one feature from the results list, it zooms to this feature and highlights it).  Does that help in understanding what I am after?
