Basemaps not turning on

Essentials 4.5, HTML 2.6

My airphotos, which show up fine in my Silverlight 2.5 version of the site, do not turn on when selected via the basemap picker in my HTML 2.6 version of the site.

Any idea why? Has anyone else run into this issue? I can't find any mention of it in the Knowledge base.

  Hi Paul,

   

  If you don't see a layer when you launch the viewer or turn the layer, please check the browser console to see if the Geocortex or Esri javascript APIs have any sort of explanation.

   

  You can get to the console by using F12 (in Chrome or IE) or turning on the Developer Tools in other browsers.

   

  Common causes for missing layers in the Viewer for HTML5 are:

  • Mismatched spatial references or scale levels in tiled services
  • Inadequate or misconfigured CORS headers
  • Missing entry in proxy.config file if proxy.ashx is being used
  • Layers not configured to be visible in the Site
  • User permissions do not permit viewing the map

  Errors will appear in the browser console either when the viewer loads or when you toggle visibilty of the layer.

   

  If the error isn't obvious, or you want to have help investigating the issue, please open a support ticket with us or your reseller and we'll investigate further.
