Workflow catch to email notification or skip failed Layer queries

Hi, 

 

Is there a catch I can add in that either a) skips/ignores a layer ID (or layer name) if it can't be found or b) reports the error and sends an email a notification to a set email address.

 

We have a lot of workflows developed that reference layer names and ID's. Sometimes changes made to the viewers affect these workflows and we dont have the resources/time to continually test all of the buttons after changes are made. 

 

Seems like a simple request but I can't find anything in the documentation. Both SL and HTML would be great.

    Hi,

     

    It might be possible to add logic to the workflow to skip layers but it would require reviewing your workflow. I'd recommend submitting a support ticket.

     

    There is a Send Mail acitivity you can use to have an email sent out. That could be used in conjunction with the Log activity.
