Link to Third Party Scientific Reporting
Morning,
Is it possible to somehow link data that has been extracted via Essentials and simultaneously derive a scientific chart from a third party charting software?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Walter,
What sort of charting software did you have in mind and where were you hoping to put the chart in the viewer (Feature Description, workflow, etc)? For an online services that generate charts using url parameters (like google charts), it should be quite easy to do. Other types of software would likely be more challenging or potentially require some custom code.
Thanks,

We use the D3 library for generating Wind Rose and other charts in our renewable energy atlas (http://www.gisapplication.lrc.gov.on.ca/REA/Renewable.html?site=REA&viewer=REA&locale=en-US) . It might do what you need. 0 -
Peter,
Excellent work on that site. Very informative.
Wind roses are but one type of scientific output reports our clients are asking for. Can I email you privately to discuss further?

Walter, you can certainly email me with questions, however I am starting 2 weeks vacation tomorrow and won't be on the forums again until mid-August. I think you can get my email from my profile listing. If not, it's, firstname dot lastname at ontario dot ca. 0
