Strange Behaviors with Buffering in GVH 2.8
We are working on migrating a parcel mailing list viewer from Silverlight to HTML5. We are experiencing very strange behaviors with the buffering in Viewer for HTML5 2.8.
FIRST ISSUE:
When using the IdenifyToolControlRegion and Activate Buffering we get back what we are calling a "Pac Man" buffer as seen below. If we use just the Identify tool alone in the List View, it works properly.

SECOND ISSUE:
In the Silverlight the user could buffer on ONE parcel while in the Table View. Now, in the HTML5 Table View, it buffers on the whole Collection of layers, and is returning way too many results, and not just the parcel we are trying to buffer on. We are able to remove layers from the collection via the List View, but we can't via the Table View unless I am missing something.
Has anyone else experienced these results?

Here is a another example of a buffering issue. This is using just the Identify Tool, not the region tool.

Hi Stephanie,
Which highlight mode are you using in Manager > Viewers > Edit Viewer > Look and Feel > Highlight Modes? There's a couple of known issues with the new "Hightlight all features" mode that will cause highlights to persist when they shouldn't, which can lead to things like your second screenshot where perhaps a buffer drawing and parcel are being highlighted together when only one of them should be highlighted.
You second question, I have answered at https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCForum?sub-nav=forum&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&id=90660000000GuHmAAK
