Custom Heat Maps

Know that it's not possible now, but is there a plan for the future to allow for the user to choose what type of calculation they would like to use for creating a heat map? 

 

To align better with ArcMap it would really help some of our users to be able to define Kernal Radius, Granularity, Slope Scale etc
