    Hi Rebecca,

It looks like this issue was resolved through a support case, but here is some information for any other users who encounter similar circumstances.

There are a few possible causes:
    1. The credentials supplied to Instant Search are not valid. To check this, go to the Map page for your site, select the Map Services tab, find your map service and click the edit icon. In the Details section click on Edit Connection Settings. Ensure that the authentication settings are correct and click the Test Connection button. After you have tested the connection successfully you should be able to go back to the Instant Search tab and re-build your index.
    2. Existing indexes are corrupted/broken. To check, open a browser and load http://localhost:19200/_plugin/head/. At the top of the page, you will see "cluster health: [color] (### of ###)". If that's not green, you may have corrupted indexes. If this is the case, we recommend contacting support for specific instructions or further assistance.
    3. Geocortex Application Services 2 folder remains from older versions. GAS2 is the "old" Core, on certain systems it doesn't uninstall when your versions are upgraded and Core starts to use the folder. Look for that folder in C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics. If this is the case, Geocortex Core needs to be reinstalled - we recommend contacting support as this can be a complicated procedure.
If the above suggestions do not correct the issue, please contact support for further assistance.

    Thanks!
