Customize Measurement Labels
Some of my users miss the Silverlight measurement labels. They measure small areas, so with the current 2.9 HTML5 viewer, everything is blocked by the labels. While there are other ideas and bugs out there concerning moving the labels, which would be awesome, I would like users to be able to adjust the transparency of the measurement label's background and outline so they could turn them all transparent and just have the value text if desired. Some users love the new HTML5 measurement labels because they are much easier to read on an aerial, so I really need both styles in the site. This could either be implemented by opening up those values to being edited with the Edit>Styles menu like the line and fill of the measurement shape already are, or by allowing more than one MeasurementViewModel in the site so the styles can be predefined and tied to two different measurement tools in the toolbar.

I would also add a vote to be able to turn the measurement labels off completely. 0 -
I have users asking for the ability to show the measurement labels more akin to drafting annotation -- slightly offset but parallel to measurement line (with or preferably) without background.
Some users have also requested the ability to turn off the cumulative measurement total completely, while others like what it does if not how it looks.
Any additioanl improvements on the horizon?0 -
Definitely something we can benefit with our internal site with over 500 users.

This tool was used frequently by several hundred users of our Silverlight viewer but as others have said the measurement labels in the HTML5 viewer are obtrusive and still discouraging users from moving from Silvelight to the equivalent HTML5 applications. 0
