Open/Save workflows to file

Saving the workflow has an Item in Portal is good, but for internal essentials site(s), i'd prefer to work more easily with local/network files.
Ability to open from file, and persist as tab linked to file, so that 'Save' works more fluidly. It seems somewhat clunky to design & debug for me to export the json, copy it from my browser downloads directory, copy to my site to execute, and debug.
A Simulator like good ol 4.x workflows would be nice too... Even without debugging tools would still be useful.

I agree with this. For those of us wanting to store our Workflows on a file system instead of ArcGIS Online or Portal it would be nice to change the save location in the workflow designer to not default to ArcGIS Online or Portal. ArcGIS Online and Portal are absolutely abysmal for storing dozens or hundreds of workflow files when you are limited to just one folder deep. Imagine having all your code for all your apps/apis managed with a one folder deep limitation. It becomes a nightmare.
