I had a user phone me earlier this week with the same problem. I didn't learn what version of Safari he was using, though I did suggest he clear his cache. But I see from your post that this will not have helped. I am glad I also suggested he install Chrome to test it there. I've heard nothing about it since, so that must have worked. I know this doesn't answer your question. Just comiserating.

We're on 4.8 and HTML5 2.8 and also had a user phone in that it wasn't working on Safari. Is it an outdated Safari issue or something wrong with the 2.8 viewer?

    Hi David, Justin, and Chelsea

Safari is not a supported browser and this is why you are seeing issues with the different versions. Safari is only supported as the native broswer for IOS.

The list of supported browsers are found in the installation documentation:

    ·         Chrome:  Current version

    ·         Firefox:  Current version

    ·         Internet Explorer:  Versions 9, 10, and 11

    ·         Microsoft Edge:  Current version

I suggest that you have users use one of the supported browers to elimiate the issues that they are seeing.

    Thanks, Ali

    Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd add that "not supported" for Safari means something more along the lines of "we don't do testing or QA against it" rather than "we definitely don't expect it to work".  We would still be interested in hearing if anyone is experiencing issues while using the latest version of Safari, especially if they prevent major functionality from working.  We haven't tested the current version of the viewer in Safari running on a desktop environment but, if issues are encountered, we will do our best to address them

    Thanks,
