Backups for Data Store Documents?

    Hi Bronson,

You can back up all the Saved Projects via the docs_geocortex_essentials_users_documents folder (see directory below). However, if you copy this back into the cluster folder it will restore ALL Saved Projects to their backed up state. This will overwrite any changes made after the back up to any Saved Projects. Unfortunatley, there isn't any documented process for restoring a single Saved Project.

    Cluter Directory:

    C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\DocumentStore\DocumentStore\CLUSTERNAME\nodes\0\indices

    Thanks,

Mike - I have a user who no longer has multiple projects. I'm wondering if they were deleted in one of the upgrades? That said, I'm trying to access the folder location you posted above. I'm afraid I get to C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\ but there is no "Data" folder. I have looked in the folders that are there, but I'm not finding anything that helps. Suggestions?? (we are on ver 4.6.1 and HTML5 2.8.2) Thanks.

    Hi,

In case anyone is interested we fixed Tara's issue via a screenshare. The Saved Projects were in a secondary Core cluster. We moved the docs_geocortex_essentials_users_documents folder from the old cluster to the new cluster. The saved projects were restored.

    Thanks,
