Map Tip Callouts create a "No Results" callout and fixed location map tips

I've upgraded to GE 4.8 abd GVH5 2.9, and I have a site viewer that uses map tip callouts which now shows both a "No Results" callout and a fixed location map tip.  Has anyone else seen this issue?

  This is a known issue. The bug ID is GVH-15712. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our developer will look into it. I add you as stakeholder.

  Thanks for letting me know and adding me to the stakeholders list.  We'll talk to our client about changing the map tips in their viewer to a fixed location unitl this bug is resolved. Thanks again.

  Long,

   

  We are also experiencing some issues with hyperlinks in maptips. For some of our viewers, the first time you click on a feature to access the maptip the hyperlinks will not work. Click on another feature and back to the feature you wanted or any other feature and the hyperlinks will work just fine. 

   

  Is this be part of the same issue?

  Hi Bobby Jo, 

   

  The issue you are describing was filed as a seperate bug in the 2.9 version and was fixed for the 2.9.1 version of the HTML5 viewer. Upgrading will fix this issue for you.

  The issue was fixed in the viewer in version 2.9.1  (GVH-15819).

  Hi Wayne...we are running version 2.9.2 and still seeing the 'Results - No Results' Map Tip anchored in the left corner, even though we have callouts enabled. Any idea how to remove the No results anchored map tip?

  Hi Lisa,

   

  This appears to be a new bug, it's been filed as "BUG 15049" and it is currently unresolved and has no workarounds I am afraid.  Please watch the release notes of future releases for mentioning this issue being resolved.

  Hi Wayne, Lisa, Long,

   

  I encountered the same bug recently. I applied a workaround which seems to work.

   

  You can add a bit of code to the Desktop.css and Tablet.css files.

   

  .map-tip-view {

   

    display: none;

   

   }

   

  I hope this works for you as well. :-)
