Label using a workflow

    Hi Kenneth,

To the best of my knowledge, this is not possible from a workflow.  There are no related workflow activities, and the related viewer commands require objects that can't be used in workflows.  I would reommend posting an Idea (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) to request the addition of an activity or workflow-usable command that can be used to control labelling.

You could have a makeshift version. Add a "ID Label" layer to you .mxd that only shows the labels and no symbology turned off by default.

In Geocortex hide the "ID Label" layer from the TOC then have a button to toggle the layer visibility. Without resarching further I am sure I have seen a command or activity to turn on/off a layer.

    Hi Mark,

Yes, I think that would be the best workaround for now. The SetLayerVisibility activity (or SetLayerListItemInfo for folders/group layers) would be the activity to use for that.

    Thanks!
