I'm having an issue with being able to edit the display name for a basemap in GE manager. The dialog box doesn't allow me to click ok. I have to click the x to close it and obviously any changes are not saved. It is not part of a slider group. I was able to give it an icon by editing the map service display settings but the display name set there isn't being honoured in the basemap list. I'm using GE 4.8. Is this a known bug?

  Hi Rebecca, 

  This sort of behaviour was reported in version 4.7 of Essentails, but was already fixed for version 4.7.1. 

  Can you open up the dev tools (F12) and see if there is an error in the console when you click on the 'ok' button.

  I had the same problem with IE 11 (company standard) and have to use Firefox (Chrome would probably work, too) to edit basemaps going forward.

  Same problem here with IE 11. The console reports the following error: SCRIPT5009: Promise is undefined

   

  Edit (1308,17). Editing in Firefox and Chrome works fine.

  Still an issue on last version. Works in Firefox and Chrome, doesn't in IE 11.

   

  Only workaround besides using one of those is set as basemap once the service gets added.

   

  Can anypne confirm?

  I´m using GE 4.12 and occured the same problem with IE11.

   

   

  SCRIPT5009: 'Promise' is undefined

   

   

  Works fine in Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
