    Hi Jamal,

Try to uninstall the geocortex core and then run the post installation and it will be reinstalling the geocortex core automatically. I tried it and it’s worked fine with me.

I had this same issue and for me, I had to disable SSL during the configuration of the cluster.  Once I did that, I was able to get the post-installation to continue.

    Hi Jamal/Shawn,

Troubleshooting Core issues is best done through a support ticket. Uninstalling Core will simply remove the roles and won't delete the Elastic Search data which could be the culprit.

    Thanks,

We have multiple issues in Geocortex that are solved with workaround.

Do you mean that we need to open support ticket by contacting the reseller (gistec in my case)? Is this for free?

However, we prefer to report all issues in the forum so that all the community can interact. Contacting the reseller and resolving the issue at that level will kill knowledge sharing and doesn’t allow the chance of other users\ or even geocortex team to be aware of such issues.

Thanks Rawan. It works with me as I uninstalled\reinstalled the Geocortex Core

Thank you, Rawan!  I just had the same problem.  Uninstalled Core as you suggested and it worked.  Your post saved the day!

This is still an issue in 4.10.3  This would save a lot of post-installation configuration headaches if they got working.

    Hi.

I am having the same issue with Essentials 4.7.1 and uninstalling geocortex core and reinstaling it again did not resolve the problem.

the Geocortex core service is running on windows.

i can also telnet into port 19201

any advice on how to troubleshoot this ?

    Hi Hwa Saup,

The Core logs will give you an indication of what is wrong but they may not be the simplest things to read.  I would recommend sending in the DocumentStore log to support, so they can provide assistance.

    C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\Logs\

    Hi all,

I had the same issue with a 4.12 Installation (Custom Install on E:\ not on C:\)

    @Hwa Saup Lee

unchecking the "Enable SSL" for the cluster solved the problem for me

    Regards
