IIS APPPOOL\EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4
Just took a look at the logs in ArcGIS Server Manager and there are several "SEVERE" entries that say:
"Failed to compute the privilege for the user 'IISAPPPOOL\EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4'. null"
We have a custom Identify for EssentialsAppPool4, but EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4 is set to ApplicationPoolIdentity.
Geocortex Essentials 4.8.2
Windows Server 2008 R2
IIS 7
Can anyone tell me what is causing these?
Thanks in advance,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
Are you having any trouble administering sites in Essentials Manager? Do you recall why one is set to use a custom identity and not the other? Sorry for all the questions but based on what you have said I would have expected you to see issues when administering map changes in Essentials Manager and I would also expect both App Pools to be the same Identity. I would try setting EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4 to use the same Identity as the REST App Pool and see how it goes.

Thank you, Wayne. No, we haven't had any trouble administering sites in Manager. I'm not sure why the two don't match either. I also found that a bit strange. I will try changing the setting for the EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4 and see if that removes the error. 0 -
