Geocortex Essentials 4.9 - alongside Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 2.10 and Geocortex Mobile App Framework 2.3.1 - are now ready for you to download.

 

Features in this release include:
  • A new results table that dramatically improves performance, introduces infinite scrolling for hundreds (or even thousands!) of records, and allows you to perform actions on specific results or sets of results; and 
  • Advanced editing capabilities allow you to cut and union feature geometries with ease.
As with the previous release, these versions support Geocortex Workflow 5 so you can deploy offline workflows, dynamic forms, and new activities in your Geocortex Essentials applications.

 

This release also marks the first release to exclusively use our online (https://docs.geocortex.com/) Geocortex Documentation Center , in lieu of the Installation Guides and Administrator Guides previously offered as PDFs. This provides a searchable, single source for all Geocortex products.

    I'm having the same issue as I did when I tried to install an instance of GE 4.8. The post installation can't get past connecting to Geocortex Core, and it also brings down the other instance of GE 4.6 I have on my server.

     

    I had an older version of GE on the server previously and had to install the Geocortex Essentials Legacy Version Compatibility Tool. Could that be causing the problem? Do I need to do something to remove that compabitility tool or change how Geocortex Core works so I can successfully install later versions of GE and not crash my existing one?

    Installed no problems :). New result panel is good .  it looks like the title bar height is bigger (?). 

     

    Note that it is MUCH EASIER to highlight some text in the expanded view (for copy & paste) - That's great.

    In table view (horizontal), when clicking on the [...] against one item (far left), why isn't there a "show expanded view" option?  It would be neat; we could display a list of selected features, then pick one and drill down to show the expanded view.

    The workflow floating dialog boxes also appear differently.  Do we need to re-edit the workflows and save with the latest workflow designer to make them look the same?

    I don't see an installation guide for the 4.9 release in the downloads.  Is the 4.8.2 guide applicable?
