Geocortex 4.8 installation - An error occurred while processing your request - the cause of this error is unknown
Hello all, we are getting the following error message from the Essentials REST Manager after installing Essentials 4.8 on a Windows 10 developer workstation. The manager is running in the EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4 application pool. There are no clues in any log files or the Event log as to what is wrong. 
Please help!

I think we've figured it out. There are issues with permissions on a config file when the EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4 is running as ApplicationPoolIdentity in an Integrated pipeline app pool. Loosening the permissions on the folder path sidestepped the problem. 0 -
