Data Link to Feature Layer

I can successfully create a data link to a map service.  I would like to create a data link to a feature layer instead.  The only fields available when creating a data link on a feature layer is OBJECTID and GlobalID even though I am going through the same process using the same layer.  Is this a limitation on feature layer's?

  Hi Amanda, 

   

  Just to confirm, it's the value in the "Define Data Link Parameter" dialog that doesn't have the full list of fields?  If it's some other part we could change the command manually to work around this.

   

  I would double check the fields list from the layer's REST endpoint just to be sure. There shouldn't be a restriction like that for feature layers only, and I did a quick test on my end to confirm this.  If it is indeed in the "Define Data Link Parameter" dialog and nothing's out of place on the REST endpoint, I'd recommend opening a support ticket so that we can took a look at things from your end.
