Failed to connect GE4.9/GVH2.9.2 to ArcGIS for portal 1.5

I am trying to connect GE4.9/GVH2.9.2 to ArcGIS for portal 1.5 and I want to use this services in my site but the connection look like empty, despite the fact that my portal contain services.

 

Please see the screenshot below

 

 

 

 

What might the issue be here?

  Are you using Portal to control authentication/authorization in Essentials or just trying to access public content on a Portal site?  From your screenshot, you are using HTTPS - does your web server (IIS I assume) support SSL3 which Essentials uses by default?  Here is the knowledgebase article that covers SSL/TLS issues - https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCkba?id=kA360000000L14b

  I am trying to access public content on a Portal site to use its content on my Essential site

   

  I notice that searching on layer URL is working well but the connection still empty (screenshot below)

  If you set up Portal as your authentication method during the post-install, then the behaviour you are seeing is correct, as far as I'm aware.  Because you have linked Essentials with Portal (during post-install) you don't need to create another portal connection in Manager.  Just search for the layers, as you are showing in your screenshot above.
