time display incorrectly

In the database, date time stored in the local time.  In MXD the time displays as it is stored in the SQL database.  However in html5 viewer date time is always off.  I tried time zone stting with default, UTC, and universal but none of them are working to disply the correct local time on the viewer.   The data coverage is global so I cannot use any local time.  Data is entered as local time and stored correctly in db.  Any idea how to display the correct local time in the html5 viewer as they stored in db?

  Hi Hwa Saup,

   

  If the times for the data in the database are not UTC you should set the Data Time Zone property for your Site/Service/Layer (depending on how broad you want this setting to take effect).

   

  The viewer will assume that dates and times are being presented in UTC so it will set an offset when displaying the time.

   

  Please see https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/4.9/admin-help/Default.htm#ge/admin/time-zones.htm for more information on how the time zones are handled within Essentials.

   

  In your Site configuration, you would choose the Data Time Zone for the local time used for the data.
