Snapping not recognizing All Layers
Hello all,
I am trying to configure some snapping behaviour in the Html5 Viewer for measurements and markups. I have everything set up in Essentilas (snappable and snapping Enabled set to true) the same for all layers. All layers are part of the same web mapping service as well and are checked on in the Select Snappable layers menu. The problem is i can only snap to certain layers in my map even though they are all configfured the same. For example i can snap to a building footprints layer however i can not snap to my parcels layer (both are polygons and configured exactly the same).
Any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions are wlelcome. Thanks in advance for the help.
Essentials = 4.6.3
html5 viewer = 2.7.2
Cheers,
Evan

Havnt tested this but just a guess.... are the shape fields turned on in published mxd for the layers that are not snapping? 0 -
Hi Don,
Yes all OBJECTID and Shape fileds are visible in the mxd and web service. However they are not visible within GeoCortex.0 -
I was able to fix the issue with the help of this post. Turns out the geocortex endpoint was getting query errors for that layer (diagnosed using the developer tools in Chrome (Look at the Console)). I did not have a display field configured in my ArcGIS Server web service for that layer and that is what was causing the issue. You must have a layer with a display field configured and you must have a displayed field that is also a field that is published up in the web service.
