View related table information in report designer

I'm having trouble getting a related table to show up in a report created in report designer. I created a subreport, added the fields, then referenced the Data Link ID and sub report name in the report.

 

I have a layer with geometry, culverts, and a table with inspections called culvert_inspect. It's a one-to-many relationship. Is there something I'm missing where the data won't show up in the report? The headers I created in the subreport show up in the report, but data is blank.

  Hey Cody,

   

  A few things you can check:

  1. the subreport name is in the Tag property of the sub report control
  2. the data link id is in the ReportName property of the sub report control
  3. the name in the Tag property includes the file extension
  4. Perform Data Linking is checked when the report is added to Essentials Manager
  5. ensure the names of columns in the DataField property match the casing used in the datalink
