Query or filter on GUID fields
Our custommer Danish Enviromental Portal (DMP), have a enhancement request to the HTML5 viewer.
They have been using the Silverlight viewer for serverel years, but are now moving to the HTML5 viewer.
http://arealinformation.miljoeportal.dk/distribution/
There map portal (arealinformation) use data from severel government offices, with reference to other data.
The GUID is the reference to the underlying data, and the objeckID is only the ESRI id, automatick build on the database view. Therefor is the GUID very inportant for them.
They have had big use of the query tool in the silverlight viewer, where you can search for an objeck by GUID.
But this is not an option in the HTML5 viewer.
Here is all fields by TYPE GUID sortet out from the field chose dropdown.
oprators that could be used for GUIDs "=","starts with”, ”ends with” or ”contains”.
