Use these troubleshooting tips if you receive an error message or a blank page when trying to sign into any of these places:
- Workflow Designer
- Report Designer
- This 5-series community site
Manage the link to your AGOL account from your Geocortex Account
On July 24th 2018, an update was made so that sign-ins to Workflow Designer and Report Designer use your ArcGIS identity instead of offering the choice to sign in with your Geocortex account (read about why here: https://communities.geocortex.com/s/article/Managing-Your-ArcGIS-Account-Linkages).
With this update, a new page was provided for managing the link between your Geocortex account and ArcgGIS account.
- Go to https://communities.geocortex.com/myaccountmaintenance/
- Sign in*
- Review the bottom paragraph on the page and act as directed. For example, if it says "Your Geocortex Account is not linked to an ArcGIS Account", click the "Link an ArcGIS Account" button.
*Note: if you cannot sign into the account maintenance page using credentials that do work on support.geocortex.com, contact support and let them know your account's permissions may be incorrect.
Clear your browser cache or use an incognito/private window
This may resolve caching issues
Ensure you are using apps.geocortex.com
We've discovered that some associated urls such as those used in redirects or account activations may cause errors when signing in. If you are using the cloud designer (not an on-premesis edition), make sure you access the designer through one of these urls:
- apps.geocortex.com
- apps.geocortex.com/workflow/designer
- apps.geocortex.com/reporting/designer
Check your browser console
Press F12 to open your browser's developer tools and switch to the console tab. You may find that additional error messages are logged here as you attempt to log in.
Contact support
Support will be happy to help if the above steps don't resolve the problem or if you'd like help working through them. Use https://communities.geocortex.com/s/contactsupport, support@geocortex.com, or contact your local reseller.

I just tried the instructions in this post, but it did not work for me. Still cannot login to my AGOL account.

Hi Lee,
If that hasn't helped, I would recommend submitting a support case so that we can set up a screen share and take a look from your end. We might be able to catch something you missed or find a variation on one of the steps above that helps.

It works now. Don't know why, or what I did. I think I might have closed the Workflow Designer window, then reopened it, created it again, and it recognized my linked login. So I guess the instructions worked.

Thanks for the quick follow-up to my input!

Glad to hear you got it working!
For our tracking purposes, was the issue a problem with signing into workflow designer in the first place, or was it a problem with having the AGOL account recognized and saving workflows after you're already signed in?

It was having my AGOL for Organizations account recognized so i could save my workflow while I was already signed in with my Geocortex login.
