Visualization Options for Large Layers
Is there a way for end-users to customize the classes that are returned when they choose to visualize a layer by attributes?
We have several large layers available in our viewer and would like to allow users to change visualization options. However, since some of the attribute fields users need to visualize contain 50+ unique values, and the viewer only returns the top results, features are being left out. Increasing the number of classes isn't an option, it seems any more than 20 causes performance issues.
It would be nice if the viewer honored the filter tool's current filter. So if I were to filter certain features out of the map, they would not be visualized in Visualization Options.

Hi Jared,
At the moment it is not possible to show visualisations from filtered data. This is a good idea and I see that you have already created an "Idea" for this.
There may be a possibility, through a workflow, to query / filter a layer, and based on the output of the query, to apply different levels of graphics to this. This may work better with ranges of values rather than unique values as creating a separate graphic for over 50 unique values may be cumbersome. If you would like to explore this further, I would recommend opening a support ticket.
Thanks,
