With workflow 5, after modifying a workflow with the designer, can I retest it in viewer without a page refresh, like old workflow? Currently it seems that I have to always refresh the whole page which is quite painful

    Hello Zhijie,

Yes, this is supported. If you load GVH with &debug=true at the end of the URL then you will be able to make changes to your workflow and run it without the need for refreshes.

    Thanks, Stefan

@Stefan Schweigert?  @Zhijie Shen? &dev=true works as well.

Stefan, whats the difference the debug and the dev parameters?

They are the same to my knowledge, either can be used in this case.

@Stefan Schweigert?  and @Nelson Dobbs?: I found the difference. Debug is logging just about every data binding that the viewer executes, while dev just logs the workflows.

You can see the difference pretty easily in client console. Open a new tab and open the console, then navigate to a viewer in dev mode. Then, change your dev to debug. If you watch your memory usage while performing this exercise I think that the practical implication for workflow development is clear.
