HTML page communicate with embedded Geocortex Viewer

Is there a way to have an embedded viewer in a html page and be able to interact with it.

 

eg. I have two html buttons can talk to the the embedded viewer. The button would invoke a workflow or command.

 

I dont want the viewer to reload but be interactive. (my use case is a lot more involved, i want to use viewer in a dashboard style page, but this example is the general concept)

  This functionality isn't somethng supported out of the box, I'd recommend reviewing the developers section of our documentation section.
