which portal member or item has how much storage used in the portal datastore

Hello, is it possible to see how much storage a portal member and/or an item has used in de arcgis datastore?

the datastore is constant growing and we want to keep it in control, hopefully analytics can help to give that insight

Hi, k l,

It is not possible to see the volume of storage (MB/GB) consumed by a user or an item, but Analytics does provide other information that would help you monitor what users/items are causing your datastore to grow:
- How many Items each user owns, broken down by category (Maps, Apps, Layers, Tools, Files)
- How many Items each user has created today, this week, this month, or any custom date range
- Alarms for "storage remaining", which will send an email when you have less than a set % of free space

The size of Shapefile in the Service items from Portal, when you click on the item then you see the size of it in portal

so you can select Size in analytics voor shapefiles service items

also collectiong the size of all the services within the \hosted folder on the hosted federated arcgis server

I think these are great suggestions and would receive support from other users in the Ideas section. I certainly recommend adding them there to be considered for future product improvements.
