Pass credentials from Geocortex site to a secure IIS virtual directory or website

We have a need to access a secure virtual directory in association with a Geocortex site. 

 

We would like to be able to access the directory from Geocortex without requiring the user to enter credentials. 

 

Is there any way to store credentials for IIS anywhere in Geocortex Essentials? The goal would be to have a hyperlink in the map tip that would open a sub-directory in a new window for the user.

  Hi,

   

  I'm not aware of anyway you could do this in Essentials. The links opened in the viewer are all client side so the user will always need to enter a password if the virtual directory is secured.
