Antivirus consuming CPU

We are using McAffee antvirus on our GIS Web server and are having issues with the McAffee On-Access Scanner Service consuming over 60% of our CPU. We've excluded all the Latitude and ArcGIS Server directories and even the Java.exe processes to no effect. Any insights are appreciated.

  We had a similar issue, below is what our Server guy excluded
