    Hi Vu,

I would always recommend checking the release notes in the 'Downloads' section.  For Essentials 4.9.2 it says 'This release aligns with the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 2.10.1 release.' and that is what we would recommend using.  It may work OK with 2.7 but it's not something we would test with.

    Regards,

We are not using viewer out of the box and have developed many custom modules based on version 2.7.0.

Are there architectural changes to 2.10 that would break the custom modules when upgrading the viewer from 2.7 to 2.10?

    Thanks,

There may be, or there may not be.  The answer depends on the particulars of your modules.

In addition to what Zack has stated, the viewer has undergone some major changes.  You may be better off speding the time testing 2.7 with 4.9.2 with the understanding that you may be forced to upgrade the viewer if you have major issues.  I am afraid custom code is specific to a release.
