Limit the Size of the Buffer

Hi everyone, 

 

We are using the Find Tool and its buffer for users to see points of interest nearby. I'd like to limit the allowable size of the buffer (to 2km) - does anyone know how to achieve this. Or set the buffer to always be 2km. The out of the box tool works great so would love to avoid creating a workflow if possible.

  Hi Anne,

   

  Unfortunately, the only option we have for the Buffer module is the default buffer - normally zero, but you could set it to 2 kilometers as described here:

  Limiting the size or having the tool automatically work is still best done by a workflow.  The workflow could still use the out-of-the-box identify operation with the buffered shape.
