Customise Labels Problem
Essentials 4.9 and Viewer 2.10
When customising labels; for example increasing the size or changing the color of the label the text changes to the Domain code instead of the text. (for example. 'Turkey' changes to it's domain code of '10' ). Is this a bug ?

Hi Greg,
I see a previously reported issue that may cover your issue. It is "BUG 17688" and the description is "Coded domains resolve to the wrong value for labels on layers added from dynamic map services" but there is no mention of it only occurring when the size or color is changed. Is that the only time you see it occur?

Hi Wayne
I am responding on behalf of Greg, as we working the same team. It doesnt seem to matter what you do to change the label it will revert back to the Coded Value. For example if we also change the field label value to something else (from the default label field) then the coded value appears rather than the description. Go back to the default field, the same thing happens.
Cheers

OK Chris, thanks for the update. I have added comments to the bug in our system as it certainly sounds like the same thing (the viewer is not checking for the presence of coded domains when the renderer is updated).
Please watch the release notes to see if/when Bug 17688 gets fixed.
