Geocortex Analytics ArcGIS Server Statistics issue
We recently discovered that the ArcGIS Server statistics reported by Geocortex Analytics in versions 1.4 and newer can be inaccurate when displaying time ranges older than the previous seven days. This means that for the time range starting whenever Analytics 1.4 was installed, up to one week ago, the reported number of requests made to monitored ArcGIS Server instances will appear higher than the actual request count. We have determined that the cause can be traced to a bug wherein Analytics erroneously processes the same ArcGIS Server log files multiple times.
Having diagnosed the issue, we now have a plan to resolve it. First, we wanted to notify you right away so you are not mislead by erroneous statistics. We expect to have a maintenance release (1.4.3) ready within the next 6 weeks to correct this issue. Please note that in order for the fix to correct the statistical inaccuracies, we will require the Geocortex Analytics log files that were generated during this time frame, so if you need to report on ArcGIS Server request statistics in the time range that is affected, please ensure that those are not deleted.
