How to preserve identify operation

Menu buttons have to be “clicked” every time you want to use them (i.e. the identify button used once will automatically return your cursor to the pan feature) We would prefer that once clicked the buttons would stay until you pick another function

  Hi Jason,

  If you edit the Identify button in Manager, there is a setting called 'Is Sticky' which will enable the behaviour that you mentioned.

  Stefan,

   

  It does not appear to be honoring the sticky setting for the identify tool in v 4.9.2.46

  Unfortunately, we are experiencing similar results that James is having

   

  We are operating on 4.9.1 & 2.10.1 HTML5.

  Hi James and Jason,

  Thanks for providing your viewer James. There is an outstanding issue, which I was able to reproduce on your site. The isssue is that when multiple copies of the same tool are present on the Toolbar, the setting is not applied (Tasks and Search sections).

   

  I'll add your names to the list of stakeholders and raise the priority on this.

   

  The setting currently will work if only a single version of the tool exists.
