report designer: editable report

Hi All,

 

I would like to produce a report with a layout containing tables, shapes and images. The Report designer supports this just fine. Howeve, I would like to produce a report that is easily editable, for example using Word, after the fact. This means that images or pdf aren't usable. While the report designer supports rtf, which can be opened in Word, any images or shapes are lost in the conversion. What would be the best way to produce an editable file with images and shapes?

  Hi Wouter,

   

  We don't really have a best way to do this.  Word can definitely import a PDF, but it's not as simple as opening a .docx or .doc file.
