Token Required Error for nonsecured Geometry Service
Hello,
Am trying to implement our onsite geometry service instead of the arcgis sample one and am getting the following error below, despite the fact that the service is not secured. Any ideas what might be happening?
"An error occurred while connecting to the service: "Token Required". The connection settings may be incorrect, or the service may be temporarily unavailable."
We've used our service in the past w/o problem the service name looks like:
https://<Servername>/server/rest/services/Utilities/Geometry/GeometryServer

Hi James,
This may be a previously reported issue (BUG 21513) if your Arcgis server is federated to Portal for authentication.

Thanks Wayne. Any idea if it is in the queue or if there is a workaround?

It's been marked as a high priority and has this as a comment for a workaround -
"work around the issue by selecting "Token Security" and using the ArcGIS Server admin account with token auth"

I was able to hardcode the unsecured geometry service URL into the site.xml and refresh the site. It was just not accepting it through GE Manager. 0
