Upload Data tool not geocoding data correctly

Hi,

 

I am having an issue with the Upload Data Tool not geocoding data correctly. I have configured a custom address locator geocoding service in the GIS Serverices section of Essentials and have linked it up to the Global Seach box as well. This integration is working fine and geocortex is able to find addresses using the geocoding service. However when the upload data tool was added and the same addresses that were found via the global search with the geocoding service are saved in a .csv file and uploaded some of the addresses are not found.

 

If i upload the exact same file again with the upload data tool different addresses are found but not all of them. I have configured the file to have the exact same addressing column names as my geocoding service (like other articles state) however i am still seeing this odd behaviour .

 

I have integerated the geocoding service with Global Search, The Right click context menu, and via a workflow all seem to work fine with the geocoding service except the upload data tool.

 

The geocoding service has also been added to my proxy page, so i don't think it is an access or permissions issue.

 

Any ideas? Have i missed any configuration somewhere?

  I actually just figured out what was wrong the upload data tool.

   

   

   

  The root cause of an issue was actually on the ArcGIS Server side (Address Locator GeoCoding Service). There was a search timeout setting on the locator that was set to 1 Second.

   

  I switched that parameter to 5 seconds on the address locator, and retested the upload data tool and the tool behaved by design and uploaded all addresses.
