Copy and paste point features in editing

Hello,

 

How can I allow the users to create a new point feature fill in the attributes they want then copy and paste that feature multiple times?  Or make the template remember the attributes they used for the first feature so they automatically copy onto all the new features?

  Lara,

   

  I ended up creating my own Add Multiple Points tool which is basically a workflow to add multiple features using the same values as entered in a workflow form. I've posted this tool in the code gallery section on this support site, as part of a bunch of edit tools. You should be able to unzip the contents and find the single workflow to take a look.

   

  Might get you started?

   

  I found it frustrating that there was no in built mechanism to do this with the out of the box viewer unfortunately :(

  Gareth - I hope you receive this. Do you still have the Add Multiple Points workflow? I cannot seem to access it from the old Code Gallery and there is not a new Code Gallery.

   

  It would be much appreciated if you still have it and will share it.

  Hi Carmen,

  Try the attachment on for size - hopefully you can make sense of the workflow. It reads from an external workflow to get the relevant REST urls, but this can be skipped and hard coded. Sing out if you need any further clarification..
