Is it possible to report using spatial queries?

Is there a way to set up a report based on a spatial query? Either the main report or a sub-report?

 

All examples seem to use attribute queries... what if you want to report on layers within an extent/feature and don't know the underlying feature attributes?

 

Can you reference the @feature field and apply operators in the filter string? If so, what are valid spatial operators...?

 

I think I'm missing something, surely...

  Hey David,

   

  There is no way to perform a spatial query within Reporting directly. However, you can integrate a report with a client application, such as the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 or Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS to run reports based on the selected features resulting from a spatial query.
