Where is instant search index located?

GVH 2.11.2

 

I've found a some older posts from '14 that describe something like this:

 

C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Application Services 2\Management

 

But we don't have any folder like that. In our Latitude Geographics folder we have three folders: Geocortex Common, Essentials and Identity Server. Another post mentioned a file in "REST Elements/REST/bin" called something like "Geocortex.GAS etc", but I didn't see that one either. We were able to successfully build a cache on one service, but we'd like to know where the index before we build anymore.

  Hi Emily,

   

  The folder would be in Program Files and not Program Files (x86).  It is also possible to add the folder to the location of your choice.  The default folder location is -

   

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\DocumentStore\DocumentStore\ClusterName\nodes\0\indices

   

  Geocortex Application Services 2 is a folder from a version about 5 years old.

  Thanks for the reply! So I can get as far as "C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data" but then there isn't any folder called "DocumentStore", there's only a folder called "Logs". Is there anywhere else the index might be created? Thanks again for the help, I appreciate it.

  Found it!

   

  It turns out a colleague put it on a different drive on the same server. I wasn't present for the install, so I wasn't aware of this. The "Data\DocumentStore\DocumentStore\ClusterName\nodes\0\indices" was a big help though, since I knew the file folder structure to look for. Thanks!

  OK great.  For the benefit of anyone else reading this, the file located here - 

   

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Bin\Geocortex.Platform.Host.exe.config

   

  contains an entry that looks like this -

   

  <add key="DataDirectory" value="C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\"/>

   

  that tells you where the data directory is located.  There is also a separate entry for the log file location.

  Does anyone know how to increase the frequency of the index update? 

   

  I found an older post, but it seems the file location has since been changed. I would like to potentially have the index recreated nightly.
