Measurement tool - Expose Drop Down List
Hi all,
My users are requesting that I expose the measurement tools. By default, they are accessible only by dropdown menu when the toolbar button is pressed.
Here is how it is like by default:
_img_ alt="Measuremejnt Tool By Default" src="https://latitudegeo--c.na53.content.force.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=906f2000000Xc6s&feoid=Body&refid=0EMf2000000YDRv" _/_img_
My users want more direct access by having a button for each measurement tool. I tried to add a button but not sure what is the command to use - I tried 'measurement' and 'measure' as commands but they don't work. I tried also to edit the available tool but there is no option to edit any parameters.
Appreciate any guidance here, cheers!

Hi Jesse,
When editing a tool in the Toolbar section of the viewer, there is an icon you can click to expand the options :
_img_ alt="User-added image" src="https://latitudegeo--c.na53.content.force.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=907f2000000XeFw&feoid=Body&refid=0EMf2000000YDTc" _/_img_
With that expanded, you can edit and see the commands. For instance, the commands you are looking for are MeasureDistance and MeasureArea.
Once you add a new tool and use this command you can add them individually.

A BIG thanks to you Wayne! Your advice has been a major help! It was even just a matter of hitting that edit icon to make available the drop down list so to simply drag and drop away from that wrapper. I did not have to configure new tools from scratch! This retained all the tooltips, notifications, and command settings. Cheers! 0
