disabling REST endpoint

Can the sites REST endpoint by made undiscoverable in the same way that you can make the ArcGIS Server REST endpoint (/arcgis/rest/services) undiscoverable.  The reasoning being greater levels of security since the contents/properties/workflows that make up a site could not be browsed directly.

  Hi Peter,

   

  This functionality is not currently available but, considering the possibility, I do think it would be a good candidate for the Ideas (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) section of our Support Center. If you submit it there, it will be considered as a potential improvement and other users can "upvote" it. The more support it gets, the more likely it is to be included in future versions.

   

  Alternatively, this may be possible via custom development. Disabling HTML access, leaving only JSON available, would be the goal. I believe this would be beyond the scope of our support department, it would require professional services. Either way, opening a case by emailing support@geocortex.com would be the first step.
