Instant Search problem
Hi,
We have 3 different sites configured in essentials. All three sites have a common map service which is configured for instant search and is indexed. While trying to use the instant search in the search bar, I am getting No results for the first 2 sites but the third site is working fine.
Also I checked the search tool in geocortex rest url (http://<ServerName>/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/<SiteName>/search) for individual sites. When I query the rest end point for first 2 sites the result count is zero. but the same query in 3rd site's rest end point is giving results.
Has anyone faced similar issues??

Hi Shubham,
Can you check that you have "Include in Global Search" enabled on some layers in your service in the two sites that are not returning results? If that's disabled, then you won't get results for those layers.

Thank you for the reply. I've checked the layer settings and everything seems fine. global search is enbled for all the required layers and fields. Also I have restarted the Geocortex Core service....no change. Could there any other reason for this?

Do you get the suggestions/hints popping up but no results?
I would recommend opening a support case with your support provider (1Spatial) so they can dig into it deeper.

Hi,
I checked everywhere I can and didn't find any solution for this. Finally I deleted the existing sites and created new sites from our backup. Now it is working as expected.
