Cached layers don't print if lined up with Print Scales

    Hi Gordon,

When printing, we won't use the cached tiles that you have generated for screen view - we request a new map image from ArcGIS Server.  When we request that image, the extent of the map is used (even if you choose a visible scale) because there may be variances between the dimensions and aspect ratio between what's on your screen and what's on the paper.

We've seen issues when printing and exporting and panning the map around, different extents get a calculated scale that hovers above and below the visible scale - so, some extents would show the 1:1000 layers and others would not.

See this article for an explanation: https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCkba?id=kA360000000L147CAC

You may be able to work around this issue by setting the scale boundaries in your MXD to be midway between your cache scales, so that small variances will not cause the issue.

    Regards,
